Our half zip is an upscale interpretation of the classic pullover mock-neck sweatshirt. Made from our durable heavyweight 100% cotton fleece, we overlay a super soft dyed-to-match cotton twill on the elbows and shoulders for a level of refinement not typically seen in the sweatshirt category. The overall fit is slim and sweater-like, but our cut affords plenty of room for mobility and range of motion. Designed with versatility in mind, you’ll look great wearing this sweatshirt indoors, outdoors, at work, or out on the town. Check it out, you'll see.

5% spandex ribbing on cuffs, waistband, side panels, and 3” high neck collar

Dyed-to-match zipper tape with custom zipper pull finished in Antique Brass
Straddle-stitched seams with high-strength thread on all exterior construction
Self-fabric half moon yoke detail carries black satin garment label
Pre-washed and shrunk to fit. If you prefer a looser fit, please size up

3/29/12One of the best shirts I've ever owned. Comfortable, warm, tough, stylish. Wish I had one for everyday of the week. Sizing is a little differnt than most (I normally wear large, had to get the XL), but otherwise, they are bad ass. Can't wait to see what else American Giant has in store for the future. Congrats on a great start!

2/12/12Just received what will be my first of many AG apparel products. The Half Zip sweatshirt sets a new standard for quality in terms of material, fabrication, design, and overall business approach. I would much rather spend my money on a quality, American-made product than Sunday-paper ad space for Macy's. Expensive? Not really when you think about how long this will last. I was raised to "buy it once and buy it right", but until now it has been virtually impossible to find clothing that isn't just disposable garbage. As others have pointed out, the sweatshirts are cut slim, so order a size up if you want some bagginess around the middle. Although they don't advertise it as such, I'm pretty sure the material is also bulletproof! Can't wait for the T-shirts and Polos to come out so I can get my hands on them. Website tip? How about adding some names to the color choices so that those of us with tiny/sketchy screens can get a better idea of what you're offering. I'm completely impressed with everything you've done. I will wear this with pride. Best of luck

2/3/12Finally a sweatshirt I can wear outside. It has more structure to it than a regular sweatshirt. Should soften up with a wash or two. The fit is definitely on the slim side. Definitely go bigger. I originally bought a medium. Sent them an email about returning it. Anne got back to me, placed an order for a large, I had it the next day (I live in SF). Large fits much better. I'm 5'11" 165.
