We do not want you to have anything from American Giant that is not completely satisfactory to you.
Returns & Exchanges:
We rely on our customers to spread the word about American Giant. This means we want you thrilled about your experience with us. If you’re not, call us. We’ll fix it.
If you would like to return your item, please do the following
- Place garment with hangtag in the box
- State a reason for return on the invoice and place in the box
- Use the return label that we have provided in the brown envelope to ship it back to us

Shipping Methods and Costs:
We offer free ground shipping on all orders and returns within the United States or to APO/FPO addresses. Depending on the item(s) you purchase and the location to which the items will be delivered, different shipping methods will be available. Generally, you will have the option of upgrading your shipping method for faster delivery (such as Second Day, or Overnight service). If you choose to upgrade your shipping method to Overnight, your order must be received and clear credit authorization by 12 p.m.(noon) PSTor your order may not be processed until the following business day. 9. Why no Retail Stores?
By selling direct to you, we remove the layers of cost associated with retail stores. Therefore we are able to offer you a lower price on a higher quality garment, made in the US that you can be proud of.
10. Where are your factories?
All of our garments are cut & sewn in Brisbane, CA.
12. How should I wash my Sweatshirt?
The best way to wash one of our sweatshirts is machine wash cold with like colors and tumble dry low. If you experience any issues, don’t hesitate to call me back at 1-888-707-0964.
13. What is your sizing like?
We have intentionally made our garments with a professional, body conforming fit while still allowing for full range of motion. This true on all our sweatshirts but you may notice it most on the pullover styles (crew, hoodie and half zip). If you prefer a looser fit, we suggest you size up.
14. How do you offer quality at a lower price point?
At American Giant, we eliminate all the unnecessary layers of traditional selling and marketing: big advertising budgets, fancy retail stores, expensive wholesale partners. That leaves us room to bring American Made craftsmanship to you at a great value, made here.
In return, we ask you to tolerate purchasing on our website before actually putting your hands on the garment. That’s why we offer free shipping both ways. If you are not 100% satisfied, send your product back and we’ll refund the total price. [link to service page]
