Associate Marketing Manager

Location: AG HQ: San Francisco, CA.

Position Overview

The Associate Marketing Manager – New Customer Acquisition is part of the American Giant Marketing team reporting to the Director of Customer Acquisition. The Associate Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in the development and execution of American Giant marketing campaigns designed to acquire new customers with a focus on paid placements of paid social, search marketing and re-targeting. Additionally, this role will support overall digital marketing analytics to advance our marketing attribution, CPA and ROI goals. The Associate Marketing Manager will manage daily, weekly and monthly budget/vendor reports, assist in managing and reporting of multiple paid marketing campaigns

Essential Job Functions

  • Leverage paid social channels like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. to distribute ad creative and content to increase brand awareness and drive conversion among new customers
  • Manage and optimize Non-Brand search campaigns and native display ad networks
  • Manage paid content distribution campaigns and provide daily, weekly and monthly performance and budget reports
  • Perform reporting and analysis of creative placements, search, and re-targeting campaigns and channel performance
  • Manage multiple individual campaigns across multiple digital channels, setting CPCs and caps
  • Evaluate campaign and channel performance using key metrics including CTRs, Conversion and CPA
  • Assist in briefing, reviewing, and optimizing ad copy and other creative assets


  • Strong Excel and Analytics skills are critical – must be able to manipulate data and derive insights
  • Experience with Google Analytics is a must
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
  • Understands online media industry-standard analytics
  • Experience with setting up, optimizing and analyzing search engine marketing campaigns on Google AdWords, Bing AdCenter and Yahoo Gemini is essential
  • Bachelor’s degree


  • Experience with Facebook Ads Manager strongly desired
  • 1-3 years experience in retail and e-commerce

  • Strong listening, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to adopt a hands-on analytical approach
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task many projects simultaneously and work effectively within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize, work cooperatively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
