POSITION OVERVIEW

In the role of Creative Project Manager, you will support the VP of Creative & Brand Marketing in managing all creative output from the graphic design team and support American Giant marketing and brand initiatives. We are looking for someone who will take charge managing projects and helping the team stay on track while solely juggling the management of all incoming project requests. Candidate must have strong organizational and master prioritization skills, who also possess a friendly demeanor and “get it done” attitude.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The primary duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage creative projects and deliverables from brief-intake to hand-off, acting as the team quarterback and liaison throughout
  • Build out projects and schedule kick-offs once briefs are submitted, ensuring team members involved are informed and well equipped to hit strategy and finish brief on-time
  • Prioritize projects and delegate tasks on the project to appropriate team members
  • Proactively predict and remove any roadblocks that may delay a project timeline
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and goals
  • Ensure projects meet deadlines
  • Own creative and copy Reviews, ensuring the right people are in attendance, proper notes are taken and the right deliverables are reviewed at the right times
  • Hold creative team members and stakeholders accountable for due dates and agreed upon strategy and deliverables
  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes
  • Support VP Creative on ad hoc projects
  • Work closely with VP of Creative and creative leadership team

    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

    • 2+ years equivalent work experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Ability to problem solve
    • Attention to detail
    • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
    • Works well independently and in a team environment; self-starter
