  Densely-woven beauty. The close fit and long funnel cuffs make for modern, crisp look that coaxes the best from cotton. The brass zipper looks and feels substantial, but does not glide without some friction. Cost permitting, a two-way zipper might be a decent option to prevent the dreaded "pot-belly-effect" when sitting down with the hoodie zipped. Overall, a fine, substantial piece.

  perfect. so good I bought it in three colors. i can't stress enough how good this garment is. fitted and classic at the same time. its a little on the long side, which is perfect for me(maybe you to?) stop reading and just buy it. you'll never regret it.

  This is the best hoodie ever I bought two! I plan on getting every color! I went to bite the pull string and found out that it was metal and was so excited that it wouldn't end up like all my other cheap sweatshirts with chewed up draw strings hehe.... Got to love American made! Can't wait to thow out all my Woolrich India/China made clothes and cycle in my new American Giant clothes. Thank you so much for making high quality good fitting clothes. Even the stitching is great, would like to see a total double stitch but who know maybe if you have quality products to begin with you won't need a double stich everywhere... Props American Giant! Make me more clothes so I can buy it!

  I absolutely love this sweatshirt! Hands down best I've ever owned. The zipper is so sturdy and the material thick and beautifully made - it's a great value because it'll last forever. After ordering one for my husband, I got one for myself because I didn't want to give his back!

  I read the other reviews about how nice this hoodie is but thought, how nice can a hoodie be?? Well, I stand corrected. This thing is heavy! It really does feel like something the world stopped making in the 60's. It probably sounds odd but I feel like some kind of astronaut from the Apollo era wearing this thing. The craftsmanship is amazing. I am 6'2" 165 lbs and the large fits me perfectly. I am literally ruined for anything else in the category. Only two things I would say could be improved - the outer tag on the bottom seems almost temporarily stitched. Perhaps it is meant to be so. No a big deal but doesn't seem to match the heft of the rest of the garment. And second, I would prefer a loop on the inside to hang it from a coat hook. Otherwise this thing is unreal - I will almost certainly order at least one more in a different color.

  A Giant awakens to lay waste to legion of lackluster, insignificant sweatshirts which cross our borders every day and tell our children that mediocrity is what built this country. Born in the USA of cotton drawn from the finest sheep the greatest nation on the planet has birthed, this warrior of durability encases the endowed owner in a cocoon of invincibility and he will giggle as a Mickey Ward left hook to the body feels like a tickle. Double thick forearms are on time to humiliate the possibility of premature work elbow rub-through. Seams stitched expertly by American workers with the Lasso of Truth will hold up to the throng of admirers pulling at your sweatshirt in a feeble attempt to be one of the fortunate without making the commitment. The streamlined body hugs you tenderly and sincerely, as your high school girlfriend did the night before you left for college. The hood cavernous yet proportional celebrates the genius of the mind it surrounds and screams victory as the competition’s head gripper is tight enough to remind them that when they chose an inferior sweatshirt they really chose to accept failure in life. Own the Full Zip Hooded Sweatshirt from American Giant and respect yourself for being the predator instead of the prey.

  This is a ridiculously nice hoodie - the best I've had and i have quite a few stupidly costly hoodies. I wanted to write this review for any female bodied persons who are considering this hoodie. Im 5'6", 110lbs. I threw a size small in a hot wash and dried it to shrink it up a little and it came out beautifully. It shrank an inch in width all around, so it's quite nice and fits close to the body but not too close. Very hard not to buy this one in another color - its really extraordinarily nice.

  Just got the burnt-orange full zip hooded sweatshirt and love it! It's very warm, sturdy and fits snugly. Certainly a high-quality product. Feels like a real sweatshirt as opposed to those paper-thin ones you get at Target. Comparable to the Abercrombie & Fitch ones but at a reasonable price :-)
