Ordering
 
  • How do I know if an item is available for shipment, back-ordered or sold out?

    Items that are available for shipment or backorder can be selected and added to your bag. If an item is available for backorder, it will state the expected ship date on the product page. If you add a backordered item to your bag, an additional reminder message will pop up with the expected ship date as you check out. If there is no date on the product page or in checkout, the item is in stock and will ship immediately (within a business day). Please note that backordered item(s) are billed at the time of checkout. If an item is grayed out and can’t be added to your cart, that item is sold out and unavailable for shipment or backorder.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express for all orders. We also have a PayPal option. We do not accept prepaid debit or gift cards.

  • Can I change an order after it's been placed?

    Unfortunately we cannot change an order after it's been placed. If you made a mistake in ordering, or have changed your mind, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible and they will try to cancel the order and refund you before shipment.

  • Can I use multiple coupon codes on one order?

    Unfortunately only one coupon code can be applied to an order at a time. This includes the coupon codes earned through the refer-a-friend program.

 

Shipping & Returns
 
  • Do you ship internationally?

    Yes, but we currently only ship to the following: Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, UK, Ireland, Mexico, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Please see shipping rates here.

  • Do you ship delivered duties paid?

    We ship delivered duties paid to the following: Canada, New Zealand, Australia, all EU Countries, and the UK.

  • What's your return policy?

    We don't want you to have anything American Giant that you aren't completely satisfied with. If you'd like to send something back to us any time, for any reason, please follow the return instructions. We'll completely refund your original form of payment (excluding shipping charges) when we receive the return.

  • Are there any items that can't be returned?

    All discounted items purchased on the Spring Cleaning, Last Chance, or Boxing Day pages are final sale and cannot be returned for a refund. Additionally, all pricing on items on these pages is final. Additional discounting can't be added retroactively after purchase.

  • What’s your exchange policy?

    We don't process direct exchanges, and ask that if you'd like a replacement item you follow our return instructions and reorder directly through our website as a separate transaction. We'll completely refund your original form of payment (excluding shipping charges) when we receive the return.

 

Sizing & Product
 
  • How do I figure out what size is best for me?

    Our size chart provides body measurements to help you determine what size you wear with us. Additional information on how specific garments fit can be found on each product page under the tab entitled "SPECS." Please also feel free to contact our customer service team with any further questions or concerns.

  • How do I wash my AG products?

    We recommend machine washing cold and tumbling dry low with like colors. If your item has a zipper, please zip completely before washing and drying.

  • Will my AG garments shrink in the wash?

    All of our garments are pre-washed. Shrinking should be minimal, if noticeable at all.

  • When was AG founded?

    American Giant was founded in 2011, and officially launched February 1st, 2012.

  • Where are your factories?

    We work with manufacturers in Northern California, Los Angeles and North Carolina.

  • Do you have wholesale accounts?

    No, we don't offer volume discounts, or wholesale accounts at this time.

  • Do you have any retail stores?

    Our only retail store is located in our headquarters in downtown San Francisco. Please stop by! We’re at 161 Natoma St., and are open from 9-5 PST, M-F. Please visit our store page for additional information.
