Order from us online, try the clothes on in the comfort of your own home and, if for any reason you don’t like it, send it back to us free of charge for a full refund. We do not want you to have anything from American Giant that is not completely satisfactory to you.
If you would like to return your item, please do the following:
- Place garment with hangtag in the box
- State a reason for return on the invoice and place in the box
- Use the return label that we have provided to ship it back to us
SHIPPING METHODS & COSTS
We offer free ground shipping on all orders and returns within the United States or to APO/FPO addresses. Depending on the item(s) you purchase and the location to which the items will be delivered, different shipping methods will be available.
Generally, you will have the option of upgrading your shipping method for faster delivery (such as Second Day, or Overnight service). If you choose to upgrade your shipping method to Overnight, your order must be received and clear credit authorization by 12 p.m.(noon) PSTor your order may not be processed until the following business day. If you choose to upgrade your shipping method to Second Day, your order must be received and clear credit authorization by 12:00 p.m. (noon) PST or your order may not be processed until the following business day. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.

1. How can I track the status of my order?
Track your order online by entering your order number in My Account. Sign in to your account and review your complete Order History. If you didn’t create an account upon checkout, you will still receive tracking information via email as soon as the order ships. Please contact our Customer Service team with any questions.
2. What’s your return policy?
We offer free shipping on all returns on all merchandise within the continental US. Due to inventory constraints we do not offer exchanges.
3. How long does the return/ refund process take?
It may take 7-10 business days for your return to reach the American Giant shipping department. Once it is received, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your original form of payment within two days. Depending on your credit card company, it can take up to 10 additional business days for you to see the credit in your account.
4. Will you charge me sales tax on my order?
We only charge tax on orders shipped to the state of California.
5. What methods of payment do you accept?
Visa, American Express, MasterCard & Discover.
6. Can you gift-wrap my order?
We’re sorry, we do not offer gift wrapping at this time.
7. Can I make a change to my order after it has been placed?
Unfortunately we cannot make changes to existing orders due to system constraints. If you would like to make a change, please notify our Customer Service team and they will cancel the order for you, if it hasn’t been fulfilled yet, and help you to place a new one directly through the American Giant website.
8. When was American Giant Founded?
American Giant was founded in 2011, and officially launched February 1st, 2012. Being a new brand, we need your input so that we can deliver the best product, service and overall experience. Please contact us and tell us how we’re doing!

10. Why no retail stores?
By selling direct to you, we remove the layers of cost associated with retail stores. Therefore we are able to offer you a lower price on a higher quality garment, made in the US that you can be proud of.
11. Where are your factories?
All of our garments are cut & sewn in California and North Carolina.
12. How should I wash my sweatshirt?
The best way to wash one of our sweatshirts is machine wash cold with like colors and tumble dry low. If you experience any issues, don’t hesitate to call us at 1-888-707-0964.
13. What is your sizing like?
We have intentionally made our garments with a professional, body conforming fit while still allowing for full range of motion. This true on all our sweatshirts but you may notice it most on the pullover styles (crew, hoodie and half zip). If you prefer a looser fit, we suggest you size up.
14. How do you offer quality at a lower price point?
At American Giant, we eliminate all the unnecessary layers of traditional selling and marketing: big advertising budgets, fancy retail stores, expensive wholesale partners. That leaves us room to bring American Made craftsmanship to you at a great value, made here.
In return, we ask you to tolerate purchasing on our website before actually putting your hands on the garment. That’s why we offer free shipping both ways. If you are not 100% satisfied, send your product back and we’ll refund the total price.

17. Do you ship internationally?
Yes, but we currently only ship to the following countries: Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, UK, Ireland, Mexico, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
